Hello Bloggers! Today I was doing my matariki story! It was interesting! I weaved matariki in my story! Here's my story! I was really proud of my writing! I also used gogole translate to translate words for me.. hehe.. Anyways here's my story! Hope you enjoy!
I was quickly sprinting to Room 5! Screeeeech, I opened the door slowly
“Your Late Blackwell ” Ms Kyra Said. “I will have to call your Mum, It's the 5th time this week” Ms Kyra mumbled .
My brother Coakley and my friend Levi laughed. They I was so humiliated.
I thought things would get better but things went downhill...
When we were in the car my Mum was fierce “WHY WHERE YOU LATE” called mum. I just ignored. “Coakley It's Matariki tonight get ready for the hākari (feast) tonight”
My Brother went to harvest crops like kumaru. When I tried to Help he said “No Girls cant harvest! They only make the food!” Then my brother madly stormed off.
I took my phone and talked about it with Levi! He was So mad! He didn't want to hang out with my brother anymore!
Levi talked to my mum about it. She Was going Crazy! She gave my brother a punishment.
While my mum said to me “ If you would like you can stay with Levi for Matariki this year! “ I was so happy i rushed to Levi’s house!
We flew Manu tukutuku (Kites) We did haka (dancing), waiata waiata (singing songs) , Having a hākari (feast) but the most important watching the matariki cluster!
“That was Pleasing!” I said “ I know right!” Shouted Levi “ Only if your brother Knew that Girls can do stuff like boys, If not Better!”
